The IFCC (International Federation of Clinical Chemistry) Working Group on standardisation
of HbA1c developed, implemented and maintains the JCTLM endorsed reference measurement
procedure for HbA1c, worldwide accepted as the analytical anchor for traceability of HbA1c
The executive work is done by the Network of Reference Laboratories.
